Request for information: Electrochemical sensor activation line This notice is not a prior information notice, contract notice, or invitation to tender. It is a request for information (RFI) - market consultation conducted as part of the preparation of a future procurement procedure. No tenders are being requested through this notice. The information presented herein is preliminary and indicative only. The purpose of this request for information is to explore the market related to the subject matter of the procurement and to obtain comprehensive information concerning the planned procurement in order to implement it in an appropriate and effective manner. More information about VTT is available at: https://www.vttresearch.com/en/about-us/what-vtt OBJECT OF THE INFORMATION REQUEST VTT is planning the procurement of electrochemical sensor activation line suitable for mid-range production volumes. The procurement scope includes automated dispensing and electroactivation/electrical characterization modules. The key technical specifications of the equipment are specified in the Annex 1 "Object of the request for information" and Annex 2 "User requirement specification list" of this request for information. Annexes can be downloaded in Supplier Portal through the link specified in this notice. REPLYING TO THE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION VTT invites potential suppliers to express their interest in participating in this market consultation by submitting your reply, including filled in “User requirement specification list”, in Supplier Portal through link specified in this notice or by email to christina.liedert@vtt.fi, in response to VTT’s need described above no later than 12:00 (Finnish time) on 9.11.2026. The submitted written material is requested to include the following information: - The supplier’s capability to offer the equipment as specified in the request for information and its annexes, please return filled in Annex 2 "User requirement specification list " with answers and comments - Optional items available - References of previous deliveries of similar equipment - Information on the corporate social responsibility (Annex 3 filled in) Based on the responses received through the market consultation, VTT will evaluate the available procurement options and, if necessary, initiate a competitive procurement process. VTT may, at its discretion, continue discussions with respondents to this request for information. VTT is under no obligation to carry out the procurement. Any decision to initiate a procurement process will be made after the completion of the market consultation phase. This request for information and participation therein are non-binding for all parties involved. Participants shall not be entitled to compensation for taking part in the market consultation.
